My greatest quilting experience was when I completed a lap sized tessalated quilt. I had to plan the fabrics not only side to side by up and down. I had the blocks taped to my faux design wall (the door to the room) vertical row by vertical row to be sure I kept the fabrics in teh right place. It was a work in progress for about a year (off and on). My in-laws do not reside in the same state and I'm sure it gave them a "start" when they would come to visit and see the rows hanging in place and they must have wondered about their fabric obsessed daughter in law ; }

I know so little about draping, I'm not sure where I would start. I have a decent understanding of flat pattern drafting, but need to take my skills to the next level in designing one of a kind clothing. Connie Rocks! so I'd love to win this copy.

I would love to design a fabric based on my own embroidery designs/art work. I would have it printed and use it to make purses.

I would study the videos and keep building my skills. I wish I could know 10% of Louise knows and my sewing would be so much better!

I would love to win this archive. I have NO space in my sewing room, but I am unwilling to part with my highly valuded past issues of THREADS... the magazines are spilling out into the rest of the house - much to my husband's dismay. This would save my sanity, give me more sewing space and possibly save my marriage by giving me the gift of space ;}

Great gadget! I wonder if there are other size tips available so bias tape can be made in different widths.
