Re: Industry Insider Techniques DVD Giveaway

My most recent project was a heavily modified pattern for a sleeves shell with an symmetrical hemline.

Re: Win a Copy of the All-New The Couture Skirt Book & DVD Set

I would love to learn anything that Clare Shaffer has to teach. Wish I could attend her lessons in person. This would be a great addition to the iconic jacket I want to make.

Re: Interview with Designer Joi Mahon and Giveaway

I am plus sized, with a very short waist and a protruding abdomen. Getting a flattering fit is a challenge!

Re: Enter Threads Storage Solution Giveaway Sponsored by

I'm moving to a new house with a dedicated sewing room. I would love to use the organizational tools to set it up right (the first time) so I can get to sewing and crafting without having to hunt for everything!

Re: Pattern-Grading Basics

I am visual learner and would have found it helpful to see someone actually grading a pattern following the steps in the article. Perhaps this could be another insider feature in the near future??

Re: Cheryl Kuczek Pattern Giveaway

Thanks for the chance to win these great patterns! Fingers are crossed!

Re: Second Annual National Serger Month Celebration and Giveaway

Pam is a great instructor. Would love to win this and improve my serger skills!

Re: Make a Mary Poppins-Style Carpetbag: Part 1

I'd love to see the how to do the hand stitching of the back -- not just a picture of the very fine work. Also would love to see more of the whole bag. It makes it easier to put the parts detailed in perspective.

Re: Win a Copy of Serger Techniques on DVD!

Pamela is a wonderful teacher. I'd love to win this!

Re: Enter to Win an Oliso Pro Smart Iron!

Press cloth and steam!

What I would sew: Clothes!! I have a shirt pattern cut and waiting for time at the machine.

Re: Win a Copy of Smart Fitting with Kenneth D. King on DVD

Kenneth King is great! Intuitive genius! I'd love to win this to learn his techniques.

Re: Mega Quilt Giveaway

My greatest quilting experience was when I completed a lap sized tessalated quilt. I had to plan the fabrics not only side to side by up and down. I had the blocks taped to my faux design wall (the door to the room) vertical row by vertical row to be sure I kept the fabrics in teh right place. It was a work in progress for about a year (off and on). My in-laws do not reside in the same state and I'm sure it gave them a "start" when they would come to visit and see the rows hanging in place and they must have wondered about their fabric obsessed daughter in law ; }

Re: BOOK GIVEAWAY: "The Art of Fashion Draping" by Connie Amaden-Crawford

I know so little about draping, I'm not sure where I would start. I have a decent understanding of flat pattern drafting, but need to take my skills to the next level in designing one of a kind clothing. Connie Rocks! so I'd love to win this copy.

Re: BOOK GIVEAWAY: A Field Guide to Fabric Design

I would love to design a fabric based on my own embroidery designs/art work. I would have it printed and use it to make purses.

Re: DVD GIVEAWAY: Industry Insider Techniques with Louise Cutting Volumes 1-4

I would study the videos and keep building my skills. I wish I could know 10% of Louise knows and my sewing would be so much better!

Re: DVD GIVEAWAY: Threads Magazine Archive, 1985-2011

I would love to win this archive. I have NO space in my sewing room, but I am unwilling to part with my highly valuded past issues of THREADS... the magazines are spilling out into the rest of the house - much to my husband's dismay. This would save my sanity, give me more sewing space and possibly save my marriage by giving me the gift of space ;}
