First off , Thank You to Threads Magazine! I have never read a magazine that I learned so much from and extremely enjoyed it also!!! I am in the process of collecting every issue from day one....... I recently found out that my very active life that I was living would come to a complete end if I did not have spinal cord surgery.... So I had the surgery and ended up having to have another four months later, which did not turn out well so during my year of recovery that I spent in bed I taught myself to hand sew and made a quilt, now not able to work no longer I have started sewing! I would love to take classes but the funds are just not available. I Love garment sewing and have been teaching myself, thru Threads Magazine and lots of sewing books from the library I am doing pretty good , so these DVD's would be so very helpful and greatly Appreciated! I am so excited to say that I just now read about the runway maxi/ mini sheer over look, because that is my first pattern I have designed and am working on as we speak!!!!!! I have done it all out of muslin and I have also added a top to go with it! I am a self taught sewer and I cannot get enough of Threads!!!!!!!! I have started a collection of the magazine seeing I just found out how long it has been in circulation! Any help and information on finding back issues would be so much Appreciated!
