My little would be thrilled to do some sewing with me. She is anxious and curious and as of now restricted to paper craft. I am still scared of letting her use needles. Child safe scissors look like more feasible option.

Re: Ribbon Braid
I love it, must one of the few projects, i immediately swept into action rather than just staring and saving in fav bookmarks. This was a must do for me. and I really did.
posted: 5:34 am on June 3rdI have added this as straps to flip flops. Cute way to liven boring flip flops. I earlier used to to tedius wrapping of ribbon around the entire strap. This braid makes it lot more easier and what more, i added velcro to the straps and to the braids, so i can change the braided straps to match my darling daughter's outfit.
I will also try it with hairbands.....
