Re: Book Giveaway: Bags in Bloom

Count me in! I ventured back to sewing (after gap of 5-6 years) by sewing a simple bag. Now having switched loyalties back to dresses N more dresses. Guess its time to switch to making some awesome bags....

Re: Book Giveaway: Stitch-Opedia

I have been yearning to learn embroidery for long. This book could just be the right impetus to it.

Re: Create a Detachable Flower Embellishment

Nice idea. I will try them on my daughter's dresses as she wants the roses removed at her whim.

Re: Princess seams, and other treacherous curves!

Nice and clear instructions. Sometimes i used to get perfect princess seam and sometimes nearly puckery and ugly, now i know how to get it right everytime. Thanks a ton.

Re: Book Giveaway - Sewing For Children

My little would be thrilled to do some sewing with me. She is anxious and curious and as of now restricted to paper craft. I am still scared of letting her use needles. Child safe scissors look like more feasible option.

This book i guess will help me guide my little daughter step into the wonderful world of sewing.

Sewing is therapy. Kudos

Re: Ribbon Braid

I love it, must one of the few projects, i immediately swept into action rather than just staring and saving in fav bookmarks. This was a must do for me. and I really did.

I have added this as straps to flip flops. Cute way to liven boring flip flops. I earlier used to to tedius wrapping of ribbon around the entire strap. This braid makes it lot more easier and what more, i added velcro to the straps and to the braids, so i can change the braided straps to match my darling daughter's outfit.

I will also try it with hairbands.....

Re: Add Style with Graphic Fabric Insertions

Thanks a ton for this. I made a kameez with neckline detail using this and it turned out pretty good.

Re: Book Giveaway - The Complete Photo Guide to Ribbon Crafts

I have loads of ribbons in my stash. Have a kind of fetish for them. Would be more than glad to have this book. Oh god pick me!
