At age 5 my mother saw that I had a flair for style and colors so she started teaching me to sew and do hand embroidery. I then started designing and making clothes for my trolls, little kiddles (I guess that shows my age) LOL, baby dolls, and Barbies. When I was in high school I was introduced to an incredible Home Economics teacher, Pam Baggett. She took me to an even higher level by challenging me to make lingerie, mens clothing, home dec using an industrial machine and other techniques. I have always loved gowns so for all my Prom and Homecoming dances I would design and recreate wedding gowns for my dresses, including the hand beading. Then when I was older I designed and made my own wedding gown. I love to sew everything, I have even made a top for my husband's dune buggy, now that was a challenge, LOL. I believe that sewing is a gift that you need to continue to teach others, so I have taught many Girl Scouts to sew and continue to encourage and take some of them to a higher level. I am a member of the American Sewing Guild.

This gown is truly an exquisite piece of art. You need to have it placed into a display box and place it on some type of pedestal so people can walk around it and admire all the details. Thank you for sharing it.
