I am not able to figure out how to reply to each comment, or respond to individual posts, I wish there was a way to do that and also a way to know when a new post is submitted.

I am glad you are inspired and that is always the case with me, I have so many ideas and so little time, I feel like I am racing the design/creative clock and use up more energy thinking about sewing than actually sewing I am sure.
As for your quest to make this skirt, I usually gather a full skirt that needs the body by using tulle, to gather with tulle makes the gathers very tight and precise, so but the tulle and the main fabric the same to gather. Also if you are lining, cut the lining shorter than the main fabric, sew along the bottom and the back closing edges, then turn and gather across the top with the tulle, leaving it free as the unders skirt. So in effect you have a your main and lining attached as one piece, then the tulle as the free floating under skirt. The lining will not drop below if it is alittle shorter and also if you run a seam along the lining side once you have turn it right sides out. Hope this makes sense and thanks so much

Hi again
posted: 12:15 am on March 22ndI am not sure how to reply, but I did some clicking around adn realized that you have to be signed in to get to this comment page. So I looked at the red banner on the top and it say My Threads, click this one, then sign in. Then I get my page where I can see comments and a box like this to type. Now if you get this comment, then you can comment back the same way I guess, but I am not sure how to reply instantly to it. It is a strange arrangement and I also have to come back to the sight to see any comments or replys as for some reason my rss feed is not alerting me. I stumbled on your new reply just now when I came back to visit the site.
I will try a few different things and in the meantime, I hope you have a great weekend and happy sewing to you!

posted: 5:41 pm on March 20thI love your gown you have picture, loads of detail.I used to sew for humans but the dolls are my first love, no complaining there, I do however love the styles and fabrics out there and might just have to make myself something in the near future, I think it has been almost 10 years since I did that. I will have to retrain my brain to sew longer and wider seams. (LOL)
Thanks again
