I made an apron that included a top piece, and was similar to a shift with a couple of snaps instead of a zipper. My main
Robles was thread tension and having the thread make a mess underneath the footplate. The thread mess was solved with a better machine. I am still working on understanding and getting the correct tension
I love beaded embellishments and am most looking forward to ways to sew beads on fabrics.
The first quilt I made was a log cabin pattern in yellows and greens. It is the only quilt I have finished, except for a small table centerpiece.
It sounds like a great book! I would love to win. Thanks!
I love the classic "chanel" style jacket. I have also been wanting to make a peplum top. Size 16-24. Thanks!
I make clothing, and am working on better pant fitting. I also make small quilts and home decor items.
I am just getting started with a serger, so none, yet. I hope for many to come.
I also have very narrow shoulders, and would like more details on that adjustment.
I have the same problem with waistbands being too large. I am experimenting with adding stretched elastic to take up the extra fullness. It is taking a couple of tries to it small enough, but seems to be working.
I enjoy hand embroidery, especially with beading. It can add so much to a garment.
It sounds like a great book! I'd love to win.
I ma not familiar with Mr. Capucci, but the structure of the garments shown is very intriguing. I am trying to learn more about design, and he certainly seems to be a master of design.
