I have been sewing for the public for about 15 years out of my home in my spare time. I have dabbled in crosstitch, embrodery, beading quilting and stainglass as well as teaching sewing lessons. I rented office space in Dec. 2008 to open my own sewing studio so I would not have to work only from an empty bedroom. I hope to craft and sew as long as the good Lord allows my eyes to see and fingers to work a needle.

Re: Got Spots?

I have an ink stain on the inside front of a cantelope colored silk dress that I did some alteration on. The ink is blue and sparkled. I have not laundered it yet. What would be the best way to remove the ink stain if possible? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Sue_Cooper all the dresses look beautiful. You had your hands full doing all that sewing and I am really impressed at all the machine embrodiery you did. I hope you are able to enjoy wearing your dress. The pink looked great on you.
