Re: Magazine Giveaway: Sew Home
Pillows, several in different patterns. Followed by curtains, of simple design, but eye catching fabric.

Hand embroidery is fun and adds delightful dimension to any project.

I am a quilting newbie. I've completed one quilt, while attending a class and am eager to learn more. Would love the book!

Perhaps an elegant evening dress, to start with.

Hi, What a treat! I have found knitting and scrapbooking mysteries at our local library but haven't yet laid my hands on sewing + mystery. Can't wait!

Looks like fun! I haven't anything like it yet and will enjoy trying out something different.

Hard to choose just one. But my first read would be the article on Stripes. The dress on the cover is beautiful. So far, not brave enough to even attempt such a pattern.

I'd like to start with One Pattern, Endless Options and move on.

How do you choose just one?! I would like to start with the sewing machine options, as I haven't explored the full potential of my sewing machine; go on to the tote bag (it is my dream to try making as many different fabric bags as possible); then denim (I'd happily wear denim everyday and every where) and before long complete tha magazine cover to cover!

Looks like a real cool book! I like the retro design of the cover and the description of the patterns included makes me want to get my hands on it. The author's view that taking care of the basics will provide great results, gives me confidence to explore and start new projects. Keeping my fingers crossed!

I have become acquainted with Threads only in the last couple of years when I decided to learn to sew. It would be wonderful having the past issues at my fingertips; to peruse at leisure, to discover and learn new tips and techniques. Thank you for this opportunity!

I've got two fabric bags in the making; one for my daughter, the other...yet to be decided. Going to try a quilting class for the first time and the first one will probably go to my mother. My children love cozying up under blankets while reading and watching TV, so am thinking of the easy fleece ones. Thank you for the chance to win the latest issue of Quick Stuff...I have a couple of the previous ones and love them.

What a great find! I really like the pattern you highlighted and will look for it the next time I'm at the fabric store. A bargain at the price! I'm going back to check the rest of the selection. Thank you!

Would it be too much to ask, to want to learn it ALL?!!! :)

Re: BOOK GIVEAWAY: A Guide to Fashion Sewing
New to the craft, every little bit of advice helps. I'm nervous working with knit or silky fabrics and have a lot to learn about fitting techniques. This sounds like it would be a great go-to reference and very useful in my rather small collection of books. Thanks for the chance!
