I would really like to get more information and working knowledge of sewing blazers. My mother made few but did not dabble in sewing blazer herself. A definite must for me.
Thanks for having this giveaway.
I presently do not own a Serger, but have been on the lookout. I somewhat find this machine a bit scary with all it's gadgets and spools of thread. So winning this DVD would definitely ease myself in knowing how to create the stitches I hope to use on my garments.
Thank you for having this giveaway. Good luck to everyone.
Congratulations Marty Marie! Woohooo. :)
Hello Ms. Gomez,
Thank you for responding back. Now time to create. :)
Hello Ms. Gomez,
Hope all is going well! :)
Is the contest only for coats and jackets? No suits, or dresses just coats and jackets.
Please advise. I left a message on Facebook and now here.
Thank you for having this wonderful contest. Have a great day.
Hello everyone. :) I would have to say my tip is that I like to iron dress shirts out from the dryer partially damped so the items will have a clean finish once pressed. I believe with the Oliso Pro Smart Iron, I would definitely achieve a great look.
Thank you for having this giveaway.
This 200-Questions on dressmaking would be a useful tool for any sewer. I would definitely love to WIN this giveaway.
Thank you for sponsoring. Good luck everyone.
Whether your just wanting to learn or bring out your creative skills having a subscription to Threads Magazine will definitely up your game. Don't you agree..? :) Packed with many projects that seem to entice me each time I am at the counter with my purchase. I would love to WIN this giveaway. Good luck everyone.
Hello there. I absolutely love classic style, but with a Modern twist to give a refreshment in style. I would love to WIN this book so it can help me improve on my style of choice.
Thank you for having this giveaway...
Hello Thread's Community,
I would have to say for me it is the shoulders which also affects my bust measurement considerably. I would love to be able to accurately fit myself properly without having to go through trying on the garment and taking it off. I still have not purchased a dress form - someday.
Thank you and have a nice day.
Attention Web Administrator,
Good Afternoon, hope your day is going well. Quick question;
Just wanted to confirm (working on project), that the ending time for everyone in Pacific Time (California), would be: 8:59PM?
Thank you for having this giveaway. Have a great weekend!
Hello Everyone - I was recently referred by (FB Profile: Sew Craftful), about designer/teacher (Susan Eilas) from one of her teaching videos on (You Tube) regarding draping, and I must say I was amazed!
From my perspective as a sewer the desire to create clothing that has durability, a creative edge, and becomes cost effective in the long run was derived mostly from necessity.
Throughout all my sewing projects I have always thought it would be nice to create my own patterns that would benefit my personal style and creativity, but somehow considered it to be somewhat out of my reach.
After viewing (Susan Eilas),videos I see that the possibilities are endless if given the proper tools and instruction along with a true desire.
Now there are many designers/teachers who may have videos or reading tutorials in the art of draping, and I think when it comes to such a topic each person perspective has to be observed/viewed and possible used to determine which style is best for you. You may even find yourself using instructions from many and compiling them all into one easy concept for you to use in the long run. But the whole point is to research and be comfortable with the instructions and to know which one(s) fits you.
I would be so, so ECSTATIC to receive this book "Fashion By Design" by Janice Greenberg Ellinwood. I feel her insights would open my world even more to terms of relaying image, concept and conditioning to designing apparel.
Thank you for sponsoring this book giveaway! Have a nice day!
As exciting as it would be to be an Threads Insider - the cost I can't manuever at this time - the economy - LOL.
But continue success on the new expansion to the Threads Media/Instructional Line.
I am in total agreement with the comments from (Cenimetara)!
Small item - brings about a great technique. Will use always.
My sincere thanks to Ms. Susan Khalje.
Dear Ms. Mohr,
How can anyone choose. All these article seem to give valuable insights to the fashion industry as well as the home sewer. Anyone would LOVE to WIN this issue. ;)
But if I must choose one article that really caught my eye, then I would have to go with, "Garment Industry Secrets".
Thank you. Have a great day!
If I could describe the Threads pattern in 1 word, it would be WOW! I think Threads pattern desgin #1919 is FABULOUS. I truly love the detailing of the colar along with the princess seam jacket giving way to a beautiful fit.
This look brings a FRESH and STYLISH look to all in one full pop!
This is a definite for anyone wanting a classic, but stylish change for Spring 2012.
I know it's on my list.
Best Regards Threads Staff,
I believe the THREADS 2011 ARCHIVE DVD set is a MUST for any fashion sewer whether beginner or expert.
Just imagine how overwhelmed with joy and enthusiam I would be knowing that I have the COMPLETE informational guide from A-Z and everything in between that Threads Magazine has provided since 1985-2011.
For me this would make my Christmas sparkle for 2011!

To all the entries "Congratulations", on a job well done. I viewed all the submissions and felt that everyone entered brought their sense of style, detailing and creativity. There are truly no loosers here.
Hello Ms. Mohr,
Thank you, that sounds fantastic! I am looking forward to the opportunity. In reviewing the contest rules at Simplicity, I happen to notice that the entry form indicated that the entry package must be postmark no later than May 12, 2010, 12:00PM/ET and received no later than May 17, 2010 by mail. May I ask if the date you have posted August 23, 2010 for all submissions to be extended by Simplicity as well?
This is so adorable! I must say, that I enjoyed having clothes made by mom. My only complaint was that I couldn't have a new item each day! Wonderful job! Just keep sewing, keep sewing.
Hello Ms. May,
Thank you for asking. I submit my comments through your survey.
