Re: Four Serging Techniques
Hi Betina,
posted: 6:49 pm on February 28thI have owned three sergers and by far the best one is the Babylock. Babylock have managed to engineer their machines so there are no tension issues or threading problems. They aren't computerised - they just make mechanical machines which do a superb job. They aren't cheap but the productivity I get from my machine makes it worth every cent. n my books, Babylock is first, daylight second!
Re: Book Giveaway: Successful Serging
Sergers - or overlockers as we call them here in Aus are mysterious and wonderful beasts and I would love to have such a book to unlock (pardon the pun!) its mysteries.

For those of you who love your Mac computers (and I am one too): you can get software for your Mac that enables you to run Windows softwareon your Mac. I use Parallels (around$100) or you can use Bootcamp (free) on the newer Intel Macs. The only other expense is acquiring Windows - but that can be pretty cheap as well - look for copies of Windows XP or 98 for sale on eBay (make sure it comes with the authorised disks).

I agree that software developers should consider Mac users but they have yet to see the light! And in the meantime there are so many outfits to be made that fit perfectly with the options you want.
