Learning to Sew A Regency Dress: From Scratch

This is a first attempt to make a Regency dress with a pattern that I had on hand. McCall M5696 is a great pattern for modern-day garments however I would love to get my hands on a Regency dress...

Re: April Sewing Brings May Flowers

Awesome. The ruffles are so nice.

Re: Girls Pink Polka Dots Ribbon Skirt

Im not a fan of polka dots however I would love to wear something like this. I like how you used the grey fabric and gros gain to contrast the polka dots. Also I like the "Lolita" style that going on with the gathering and bows. Are you going to make a top to go with this?

Re: Kinley in "Popping Pink"

I love making clothes from my daughter, she gets very happy. You can really tell how they enjoy a handmade garment without them telling you.

Re: Fanciful Spring Dress

I like how you made the neckline and all the accessories you made for the dress.

Re: Mystery Foot Revealed

That's so awesome.

Looks cool.

Re: Giveaway: Simplicity Bias Tape Maker

I have a manual bias tape maker, saves me a trip to Walmart. This machine would be so nice to use.

Re: What's Your Favorite Non-standard Sewing Machine Foot?

Hands down, my ruffler foot and zigzag foot. Im trying to master the elusive roll-hem foot as well.
