My grama was an excellent dressmaker and started me off when I was 5 with scraps to make doll clothes. I started sewing for profit when I was about 13 and eventually designed for private clients under my own label, Pink Dreams Designer Originals. I only wish I had more photos of my best stuff, especially the wedding gowns!

My parents live in Hawaii so when my mom sent me some nifty local pink fabric we wound up with 'matching muu muus'

I designed all 7 dresses for this Wedding party.  The fully gathered skirt of the wedding gown was hand basted to the bodice and removed after the reception to reveal a scalloped lace overlay...
