Re: DVD GIVEAWAY: Threads Magazine Archive, 1985-2011
Oh my, what a treasure trove of information to win. This would certainly be a valued addition to my sewing library. I love the magazine and have been a subscriber for the past two years. This mag has been so helpful to me as I begin my sewing journey.

Thank you much for this tip. I'm fairly new to fashion sewing and just getting the tools I need, so this idea will save me from buying something that might be more frustrating to use. I'm sure I can find some beautiful fashion fabric to spend my savings on.

Having been a quilter for a good number of years but now venturing in the world of sewing clothing, this would be a perfect reference for me to use.
posted: 8:54 pm on May 17thI'm totally amazed at all the features on my new Bernina 830 and want to use them to make clothing that actually fits. It's amazingly hard to find people who will teach one to sew clothes so this book sounds like a great resource.
I'm a subscriber to the Threads magazine and really enjoy the articles and detail instructions that even a novice like me can follow' so I'm sure this book would give the information I need to tackle some of the more detailed projects I want to do. Thanks for this opportunity.
Re: Book Giveaway: "Embroidery Companion: Classic Designs for Modern Living" by Alicia Paulson
I would have to say machine embroidery- it's what I've done the most of. Funny, I bought my first Bernina machiine in 2005 & was asked if I wanted the embroidery module for the discounted price, my first thought was no, wouldn't use it much. But, have come to really enjoy doing this type work. Designing in software is lots of fun. This book would be a great help in furthering my craft.

As I write this, my oldest granddaughter turns 11 years old- she definitely is in that early tween stage and is a joy to sew for. My youngest granddaughter is 4 years old and very much a ruffles/bows type of girl. This book would be most helpful in sewing garments for both of them. Love this Threads site and really love my paper subscription that I get at home. Both give me many hours of readings and inspiration. I would be very happy to win this book.

Thank you so much for this video. I recently took a class at the local shop & learned about zippers. This just adds to my information stash. I will practice with the steam-a-seam method as it looks even easier.

What a great video on a great idea. Thanks for taking the time to share your love of sewing with those of us in cyber land. This gets me thinking up many new scarves and helps my practice my free-motion stitching.
