I would LOVE to use this book as a reference for creating steampunk costumes for my husband. Since it contains patterns, it would simplify research into drafting patterns for Victorian style men's garments.

I now have a stellar excuse for my stash - I need all that fabric to ensure that I get "good" at sewing. Actually, I'm not sure if I have enough "acres of fabric". Time to run to fabric store again ;)

I've had a serger for years, but the only thing I've really done with it is to use it to finish the edges on fabric. I need to learn about the other more decorative uses of the machine since it's clearly underutilized these days.
