I get my inspiration from the many wonderful bloggers out there and from tools such as pinterest which allow me to spend more time sifting through the many sewing projects, tips and inspiration found on the internet.
I would love to win this book because it seems that once I get one outfit fitted for me, all the other transformations should also be almost perfectly fitted as well. To me, the concept of mix and match pattern parts makes a lot of sense and takes up a heck of a lot less room in my already sewing space. Thank you so much for the giveaway opportunity.
The drawer space that is illustrated in one of the configurations is ideal for small sewing notions. I would love to keep my notions in one general area to improve efficiency and lesson "oh my gosh, now where did I put those covered button sets?" anxiety. Thank you.
I do basic shirts, slacks, and long sheath dresses because my body type is nothing to crow about. Would love to make some nice simple jackets..
I love my serger (a Babylock Evolution) and have made a robe, a couple of knit teeshirt dresses and a some tee shirts. Would love to master more techniques.
I would love to make an ensemble using #1467. Very feminine and I think it would work on my short roundish body. Thank you for the opportunity to win this great pattern.
I want to sew beautiful one-of-a-kind garments for me and my grandchildren.
What a shame to have a wonderful server and not to be able to fully utilize it.I would love to be one of those people with the knowledge and skill to complete an outfit almost completely on the server. I also want my knit outfits look professionally finished. Looks like this DVD might be the ticket. Thank you. :-)
I am a current print subscriber and I look forward to receiving my Threads. The inspiration and the sewing know-how that you provide is priceless. I would love to win an additional year's subscription. Thank you for the opportunity.
What a cute bag. Right now, I still carry around the tote bag I made during my first year of marriage back in 1974. Perhaps I could give old faithful a break -- :-) Love love love my Bernina Artista 730.
I am so in awe of the sewing talent out there. Louise Cutting, is one the best and I would love to learn from her. This DVD bundle is the next best thing to being in a live class from her. Thank you for the give-away opportunity.
I am somewhat timid about using embroidery on my garments. It looks as if this book can provide the inspiration to "go for it" and use the beautiful embroidery motifs available to embellish garments. Thanks for the opportunity to vie for this book.
I want to be one of those persons that the attendees at the ASG national convention will stop to look at what I have made. I have just renewed my subscription for 3 more years after my inaugural year subscription. I learn something from every issue. Just imagine if I had TWENTY-SIX YEARS of issues to learn from. Yes, I would love to own the Threads Archives DVD and my husband wouldn't be mad at me for having a bzillion magazines stored in my sewing area .
My first priority is to make my Grandson, Sam, a chefs hat and apron - he loves playing in his kitchen. Next, I plan to finish that rock concert t-shirt quilt for my brother (label says 2007 and my husbands fishing quilt (even older) - I will make my grandfur, Devie a bed and will make some cool sewing gifts for my sewing sisters. Maybe I'll have time to make that cozy comfy robe for me and my DH wants a bedside caddy (for his itouch and telephone & mine too!).
