I'm a retired High School teacher who is passionate about sewing.Since my retirement eight years ago, I worked in a fabric store for 6 years, and have developed my sewing skills to a higher level, thanks to the extra time I have to sew , the internet, blogging and Sandra Betzina who has been a great inspiration to me.
I sew for myself and my daughter mostly . I mentor a sewing group in my community on Thursdays and love every minute.
I sometimes think I'm obsessed with sewing and thank goodness I have a husband who is very supportive of my interests.

Your daughter's dress is beautiful and fits her perfectly. I too sew for my daughter who lives several hundred miles away. I always worry about the fit and almost every time, it fits just right.
