These DVDs would be terrific for my daughter who wants to learn how to sew.
Oh, vintage sewing. How fun. I'd love to win this book.
Serger techniques. Now there's a subject that I could definitely benefit having some instruction on. This DVD would be great to own.
The hardest part of wardrobe building for me is knowing what styles suit my figure shape and short stature.
As soon as I can get my hands on the latest issue of Threads I sit down and read it from cover to cover. There's always something that inspires me and something new to learn. A whole year's subsrciption would be wonderful.
Sewing is my passion. I'd love to have access to and be able to read all the information that is available on the Threads Insider.
My greatest quilting experience has been working with the local quilt guild to make quilts to give away to people who are sick, injured or in a stressful situation. The woman I work alongside of have a collective quilting experience of hundreds of years and thousands of quilts. How could that not be a great quilting experience for me.
Draping, now that's something I've never tried but would love to give a go at.
Wow! Fiction with a sewing theme. Love it!
Although I consider myself an advanced sewer, reading or watching anything to do with sewing will always improve improve my skills. Since these DVDs are by Louise Cutting, well, that just doubles the fun.
Oh to have all that information handy with just a click or two! I've been saving my pennies but it certainly would be nice to win a copy of this DVD.
I think I must be confused about the measuring. Is your arm is bent to measure it? That's what I understand the instructions say to do so why does the pattern need to be 1 1/2 inches longer than the measurement. In my head, that would make for a very long sleeve.
