Re: Project Runway Season 12: Episode 2, "Million Dollar Runway"

I agree Kate's dress should have won. It was about extravagance and elegance. Her dress had all that.
I think that Sue Waller's dress detracted from the jewelry. Something about the neckline that just didn't work. The necklace laid over one side and it drew my eye to that one spot.
I would wear Dom's dress.

I think they are really over the top with the drama this year. Bring it back to what the show is really about: Fashion Design.... not Flaming Divas!

Re: Book Giveaway: "Quilt Love"

Sold two baby quilts for Christmas gifts. Love quilting! I can't decide if I like it better than garment sewing or not. I like to be able to wear my work too.

Re: The Winner of "The Fashion Designer's Handbook" is...

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I am so excited to be able to share this with my 9 year old Granddaughter! She has been sewing doll clothes with me since she was 3.

Wooo hooo! I am so happy! Merry Christmas to me!

Re: Kid's Fashion Giveaway: "The Fashion Designer's Handbook"

Would love to own this for my granddaughter who is nine years old and has been sewing with me since she was three. She has her own machine and makes Doll clothes for her American Girl doll. She frequently asks me to help her design the outfits to match the ones I'm making for her.
Thank you for running such great contests! (I wasn't aware this existed until the contest.)

Re: BOOK GIVEAWAY: "All Sewn Up"

I will be making gifts for my daughters teachers, for my co-workers, and for my daughters friends. I can't wait to see the contents of the book!

Re: Sewer vs. Sewist

I like Sewist. When I write the word Sewer, it always reminds me of a drain, and not a good smelling drain. The drain that runs off the house and carries away household waste is also known as a sewer.

I am a Sewist, or a fabric artist.
