I enjoy hand stitching the best. I can sit anywhere to sew. I have just in the past few years been given a sewing machine. I am 50 years old and have been hand sewing since I was right around 10 years old. I still get real nervous and uptight trying to sew with a machine. I am doing better at relaxing and letting the machine do all the work however, there are times when I can not get the machine to do what I want and have to rip the seam out. I end up sewing the seam by hand at this point. So as I enjoy hand sewing all kinds very relaxing and enjoyable.

Over the years I have made several quilts big and small. The absolutely favorite one that I have ever made was one that I made my sister-in-law several years ago. I made it with painted blocks with little sayings with little pics that express the sayings. It was so cute I almost did not give it to her that year however I did. I was told that she hung that quilt on her wall and does not let anyone use it.

I can not decide which design I like better. I like all of them!! They look very comfy and stylish.

I am really interested in the tailoring of garments. I have recently gotten really interested in making garments. Thank you for the giveaway!

I would love to have this book. I would learn something and it would be a welcomed addition to my sewing books.

My daughter-in-law is now hooked. Before she and my son got together she could not sew. When they come over she always wants to know what I am doing and wants to see it. She thinks it is really neat and wants to know how I did it and wants me to show her how. She borrows books from me all the time and always talks to me about her projects and wants help when she gets stuck. I have her hooked all the way that is for sure.
