Re: Tangerine Tango
I was just looking at the new McCalls Spring patterns and there are several pattern covers that show the garment on models in this new orange. Sadly, none of the models look good in the color, their faces seem washed out. Although I love the richness of tangerine, I too will have to sit this one out as my skin tone has blue undertones and I can't wear orange.

The health-monitoring clothing reminded me of the book, "Super Sad True Love Story" where you could find out everything about someone before you even started dating them. "Advanced Textiles for Health and Well-being" sounds like a provocative read and I suspect that this may not be too far off in the future. After all, Cristo has been creating enviromental works of art for years by wrapping bridges and fences with fabric; art on a grand scale. So why not fabric to shape and protect the earth.

Looks like I wasn't the only one asking!!! I was looking at the magazine this weekend and looked everywhere for the pattern number and for where one could get that georgous clutch/handbag seen with the pants! I'll check out some of the patterns listed above, but was hoping to whip something up quickly in time for the holidays. Right now I just don't have the time for modifying and re-fitting a pattern. Will keep all in mind for future use. But...love the pleats and style of Patricia Keay's pants. Definitly would love to see her make a pattern for these.

TinySeams, I love it! Your choice of colors and the drape of the garment are just beautiful. I can only imagine what this would look like full size...something you would see on the runway! Very stylish, great job!
