Shraket - Shrug Jacket
This is a "Shraket" a label I devised to describe a combination jacket and shrug. It is made from a shawl. I digitized the design from a cross stich magazine I purchased. I also placed small pieces...

Re: BOOK GIVEAWAY: "The Art of Fashion Draping" by Connie Amaden-Crawford
Our mail was held because they were repairing the bridge on the only way into our development. When we picked up the the mail and I got my Threads I couldn't wait to read it. One of the things I noticed was the piece about the book. I even mentioned that it would make a great Christmas gift for me. I have all these design in my head and some on paper, this book would go a long way to making some of them a reality.

I use my serger quite a bit and I liked the tip on moving the blade over and the use of the stabilizer. Maybe more people will use their sergers if the instructions are as easy as these. LindaD
