Lovely, I like the design, the quality of work, I like it all.

Re: BOOK GIVEAWAY: "The Art of Fashion Draping" by Connie Amaden-Crawford

Our mail was held because they were repairing the bridge on the only way into our development. When we picked up the the mail and I got my Threads I couldn't wait to read it. One of the things I noticed was the piece about the book. I even mentioned that it would make a great Christmas gift for me. I am an advanced sewer and am currently working my way through "apparel making in Fashion Design" by Injoo Kim and Mykyung Uh because I don't have formal training and want to learn all that I can. I have all these design in my head and some on paper, this book would go a long way to making some of them a reality.

Re: Video: Learn the Basics of Fashion Illustration from Yelen Aye

Very cool. My degree is computer science and now I make clothes for fun and teach sewing and digitizing. This was great.

Re: Custom couture: using unexpected fabric

I love it. Nice job. I sew with home dec often. It is a great place to shop. Look at their silks sometimes you can get a great deal.

Re: Video: How to Sew a Three-Thread Rolled Serged Edge

I use my serger quite a bit and I liked the tip on moving the blade over and the use of the stabilizer. Maybe more people will use their sergers if the instructions are as easy as these. LindaD
