Re: BOOK GIVEAWAY: "The Art of Fashion Draping" by Connie Amaden-Crawford

I would love to drape a gorgeous dress for a date night out with my husband.

Re: MAGAZINE GIVEAWAY: The April/May 2012 issue of Threads magazine!

I'm excited about the "One Pattern, Endless Options--A base pattern makes it easy to whip up an entire wardrobe" article. Mastering something so versatile seems like it would really open up one's creativity.

Re: BOOK GIVEAWAY: "Roberto Capucci Art Into Fashion"

His work is gorgeous! Unfortunately, I'm not that familiar with it, so I'd just love to learn more about how he creates his stunning and inspirational designs.

Re: Magazine Giveaway: Threads Issue #159, March 2012

I've seen some interesting pieces on bra making lately, which is very intriguing to me, but I have to say the article about couture sewing would be the go-to piece for me.

Re: DVD GIVEAWAY: Threads Magazine Archive, 1985-2011

What a wonderful opportunity! I am a huge fan of the Threads magazine, but I don't have a large collection. Having the entire set on DVD would be fantastic. It would take my sewing to an entirely new level!

Re: BOOK GIVEAWAY: "Couture Sewing Techniques" by Claire B. Shaeffer

There's so many couture sewing techniques that I would like to learn that I don't know where to start. I'm a relatively new seamstress, and I'm doing my best to take my time and learn to sew well. This book would be a great addition to my library and really help me to achieve my goal of learning how to sew well. Thanks for the chance to win it!

Re: BOOK GIVEAWAY: A Guide to Fashion Sewing

Please add my name to the hat for winning this book. My sewing library is very meager at this point, and this book would be a very welcome addition. As a novice sewer, I know there is so much I need to learn about sewing garments that I can't just teach myself. Thanks for the chance!

Re: BOOK GIVEAWAY: "Underwear Fashion in Detail"

What a wonderfully fun idea for a book. It's also wonderfully fun to think of where underwear might go in 50 years. Maybe we'll think back to these years of comfortable granny panties and barely-there thongs as a misguided revolution against the corset and frilly underthings of yore. Or, maybe we'll look fondly on our trends today and what they say about our embrace of the natural body.

Re: Book Giveaway: "Little Things to Sew"

I've just gotten into sewing little things this past year. I'm at that point in my life where everyone is having babies, and I've been on a rampage making baby blankets for each friend's baby. But, the baby that I most enjoy sewing for is my little niece. I'm currently making her Christening gown, and I have two Oliver + S patterns for my next projects. I'd love to win this book so that I could make even more cute little things for my niece.
