I learned to crochet from a kind woman who was a housemother in a home I went to live in the fifth grade. I learned to sew in 4-H, and I have sewed for my kids and grandkids and hemmed and mended for co-workers. I consider myself a mediocre seamstress and would like to improve my skills. I was employed at an automotive parts factory for 34 years, and had to seek employment wnen it announced it was closing. I have worked for three weeks now as an industrial sewer, and I realize how much I never knew and I really need practise! I would really enjoy sharing any experience I may have acquired over the years, and my goal is to make my first quilt. Thanks for this opportunity to enrich my life!
