My name is Carol. I have 5 children and 4 grandchildren and have always loved sewing for them. As a home school mom I taught my daughters how to sew as well. We made a few quilts together as they were growing up. I have made everything from buntings to wedding dresses. I love to learn new techniques and try my own designs. I have recently started trying to create my own embroidery designs.

I am positive that this is an even feed foot or walking foot used only for straight stitches. Even thought it has a wide opening making it look like a zigzag foot. It is used to sew layers together and feeding the layers together so one layer doesn't get ahead of the other.
