Effie Trinket at the reaping from The Hunger Games
I reproduced the look of Effie Trinket in the reaping scene of The Hunger Games. Everything is made by me with the exeception of the flowers at the neckline which are pre-made and the sock, shoes...

It is beautiful.

And what does infringing on the rights of a third party mean? Though I am not doing that this year, one year I dressed up as Xena, would that be infringing on the rights of the writers of the TV show? I guess, I am asking if one makes a costume such as something one would see at Dragon-Con or the like which is inspired by a character in a film or show, would that be disqualified?

Gunnar started out being the jerk I disliked, but the way he dealt with his client was so wonderful. Ven is an insensitive jerk, and he ain't no ideal body either. I can't believe how he made that woman feel. I hope some really famous designer sees this show and volunteers to custom design a wardrobe for this lady and make her fabulous. She didn't ask to be humiliated on national television.

I would like to include a piece in each outfit I created for myself, whether visible, or just known to myself in an interior finish as my special secret.

It is a joke to have someone who can't sew on a show that requires sewing! I guess beauty helps. And the gushing over Anya's pants makes me think they must be smoking something, they were awful.

Re: From Botch Job to Beautiful in an Afternoon!
Don't think it was really necessary to point out the sloppy tack-down in the lining that didn't effect fit at all. To many, and I don't think this is unjustified, there is no reason to make pretty stitches that don't show on the outside as long as they serve their purpose. All that did is make me feel pretty crappy about my own stitches that may be unseen from the outside.

"bring others down" not done
And insert a "not" so that the final sentence reads "not interested"
Re: Installing the Front Band to the Fantasy Fur Jacket
Why do people bother to bring others done by saying they are not interested? Then move along, there is something for everyone. How selfish do you have to be to think you just HAVE to tell everyone that YOU are interested.

I am loving it. I have some extra kaphalon hair from when I get my weaves, and am itching to try something like this. I am thinking maybe a shrug though. You are giving me great ideas. I wish I had you as a personal tutor!!!
