That macrame piece was so beautiful I was sorry I could not see more of it. It was masterfully done.
The lace piece, I could do without. I understood it but they knew that it was not goning to make the grade. The team was so supportive of each other, that was refreshing to see.

Hi,
This machine foot is used to put elastic on things like half slips or those soft nylon skirtsor even panties.
It zig-zags the elastic on to give it ample stretch as the elastic is fed through the slot. I have been wanting one for years and cannot find one. As the item is being elasticized toy can tighten the little screw on back to get max or min ruffle.

What closure did you use, how did you get it to stay how you want it to, can we see the front/back. You are only teasing us here, if you are going to post something here give it to us good. I would love to see and hear more.

I wish you gave a full description, fabric, explicit design etc, for us to really get into your work. Just showing us a photo just dosnt cut it for those who really want to ENJOY your labour of love.
Things like...where you found this remarkable fabric, was it pieces that was left over from another job where you thought it would just not do then miraculously it did! and every body was asking about the insets, which just happen to be a gift from you husbands army buddys wife 12 years ago....
I mean really give me something to read and enjoy instead of waste my time looking at a photo. I see so many photos in a day I want something exciting, after all you spent hours on this garment. GIVE IT AND YOU WHATS DUE. Sorry if I am too honest but people are too politically correct now a days. Seeme as if anything is now acceptable, exceptional work (verbage and otherwise)is almost a thing of the past.

Tapestry and denim? you have got to be kidding.
You should really meditate on WHY you mix fabrics. This piece needs some more consideration.
Good try on the construction though, the design factor leaves a lot to be desired.

Its good to see Threads giving the window to those who sew, but I hardly see anything so spectacular about this garment.
Maybe not enough was said about this "film' material. Maybe it is some magic thing that is so hard to work with why it is posted on threads... It all looks so simple to me that I really wonder....Where do you find this "film" so I can give it a try?
