Re: Project Runway: Season 8 - Finale Part 2
I cannot believe that Gretchen won. I personally think they are old grannie clothes. I am a grandmother but I would never ware Gretchen's Clothes. The only look from her I liked the entire season was the 1st design.
posted: 4:37 pm on November 2ndI think that Mondo should have won.
I also loved Andy's designs they also were cutting edge garments.
Gretchen should have been off a long time ago.
I love Project Runway but what were you thinking?
Nina and Michael were wrong!
Re: Project Runway: Race to the Finish
I love Mondo's work. I think he is the top designer this season.

I was very disappointed with Emilio's Little girls dress. I know he can do better. I love Seth Aaron's design. Very Stylish . I Loved everyone design except Jeaneane's . I disagree with the Judges assesment of Amy's colors. I liked her colors and they do go together. I could see this on a young mother and daughter.

Re: Sewing Machine Recommendations -Moderate $ to do heavy work AND pretty datails
I have the Brothers Quattro and it handles all types of fabric
posted: 9:38 pm on January 18thwell. Just embroidered faux fur and Suede and it worked great.
But the machine is around $6000. I also have a Janome, Janome's are work horses $1600.00, It has a built in walking foot. When you buy be sure you buy from a Dealer in your area that has support and a repair sevice. If you buy the Singer be sure that they have a repair service in the area. I teach for a Janome and Brother Dealer in my area. They want touch the Electronic Singers .The singer home machine that are under warranty need to mailed to a place in Washington State.
Bernina is a great machine. just don't buy the cheap machines at WallMart. You get what you pay for.

That is very cleaver. I hate marking darts and tieing the ends. I will use this on my next project.
