It doesn't matter how many books there are out there... You can always find interesting and new ideas. This book looks like one of those well put together books with lots updated color choices and uses for the ribbon work. I would love to have it.

I vote for the stripes. The other two really great designs. However, the embroidery only hints at vintage hankies and the origami dress looks more like a slip. Both are very creative but don't give me a strong sense of vintage time and place.
