I am a 40 yr old grandmother of 2, mother to 3 and happily married for 16 yrs although I have been with my husband since we were 18. I have always loved sewing since my mother first showed me how when I was 8. Most of the sewing I do is relatively self taught and I love learning new tips and techniques. Through ill health I have had more time to sew and have decided to try and make a small living through this. I also love art and have done various art courses through my adult life, especially textiles which is really interesting.

Thats brilliant, I bought a form that is suppossed to cover my size but doesn't so it's been sitting doing nothing. Thanks to you I can dust it off and finally use it.

I have used this technique before ages ago but I've just realised it was your tip that I followed. I only joined today and was blown away by all the tricks and tips wishing I'd found this site sooner and it turns out I've used this site several times without realising what a little gem it was.
