Princess Allura
This is my granddaughter. She picked out the material for this costume and I sewed it. On the mask, I started out with a simple over the eye mask for the form and added the embellishments...

Re: How to Make Ribbon Trim
I absolutely love this ribbon embellishment. Kenneth King you are my favorite designer and you have been ever since I saw you many many years ago on a Sandra Betzina sewing show. I also would like to thank you for sharing all of the fabulous information that you find and your many tips and techniques.

Re: Project Runway 9: "Off the Track"
I was very appalled at the way Josh acted on the lastest show. The way he treated Becky was very cruel. As far as I am concerned, he needs to be booted off the show. Then to top things off, the judges praised him for his actions. What is going on here. Wake up judges, I could not believe YOUR actions. You think this shows a leader? It does not. What it does show is a person who is very into himself and will never make it to the top. He has an extremely bad attitude and will never be able to run a business. Would you want to work for him? Not a chance. I was very surprised by the judges and maybe they are just so uppity now that they cannot judge real cruelty. Shame on you!

I also have to agree with everyone else. Stop the backstabbing and drama. I want to see professional seamstresses. Get rid of the children who can't behave. Now, What I would also like to see is more of the actual sewing. I have watched this show for years, but I don't really learn anything. I would like to walk away from each episode and want to try a new technique or say WoW I did not know how to do that and it is so easy! We as sewers are always wanting to soak up more knowledge!! Take the winning outfit and show us exactly how it was made! Teach us and many more will be watching! Thank You for listening!

What were the judges thinking when they kept on Gretchen. She should of been kicked off long ago with her attitude. I don't get it. Michael C's outfits were gorgeous and Gretchens looked like K'Mart brands. I know longer feel like the judges are doing a "honest" job. Lets be fair or you will loose your viewers!

Re: Clone Yourself A Fitting Assistant
I made a duct tape dummy with the help of my husband about 10 years ago. We never laughed so hard together! I hooked it to an old cloak tree. It still stands in my sewingroom as good as the day I created her. She is my very best sewing friend. Without her, I was a great seamstress, but nothing ever fit right. She has been the best sewing tool I ever had. Everything fits now, because I can check out the pattern first. If I see problems, I adjust the pattern and then stitch out a muslin. Making the final adjustments. Now it fits me perfectly!! I did not fill mine with foam, I used batting and stuffed it tight. Be sure and try this, you won't be sorry!! Cindy
