Re: MAGAZINE GIVEAWAY: "Quick Stuff to Sew"
With three sons, five grandsons, and a husband, my Christmas sewing usually involves bathrobes, pajama pants, and fleece blankets. This Christmas two sons have already requested a privacy curtain for the loft in their rustic Colorado cabin. I'm still pondering on the "how to do it" for that request.

I'm a retired home economics (FACS) teacher, so I've taught many beginning sewers. However, this past fall I taught three neighbor girls how to sew. We started with nine-patch pillows and moved on to pajama pants. Then the girls bought fabric and patterns for Halloween costumes (without my input). That was a challenge, but we finished them the night before trick-or-treating!

I've used my serger for edging fleece blankets and reinforcing seams on pajama pants and bath robes, but I'd like to learn more creative uses. I love my Babylock Imagine and its easy threading. I need project ideas and ways to use its potential. This book looks like the perfect answer.
