I've really had no formal sewing training, unless you count a 9 week high school Home Ec coarse. What I know about sewing I have learned on my own through reading, watching, experimenting, and a lot of trial and error. I do have a good God given ability to figure out just about anything and an insatiable desire to know how things work and are fitted together. This can be problematic at times though, since it often will lead me into some project that is really over my head. But I usually manage to make it happen anyway.
My latest such endeavor is making all the female attendants' dresses for my oldest daughter's wedding in August (thats 6 bridesmaids, a Jr. bridesmaid and a flower girl). We are also making and doing all the decorations and I am her official Wedding Planner/Coordinator AND I'm the photographer too! HELP! I must be INSANE!!!
