I started sewing on my mothers lap at 6 years old. Ive never stopped. I love pretty things, am addicted to fabric, and enjoy engineering clothing the most. I have an obsession with dress forms, especially vintage-y looking ones. I passed my knowledge of sewing down to my daughter, who is now 16. She hasnt come to fully appreciate this information yet, and would rather ride dirtbikes and play sports, but I know it will come in handy later on :)
Its funny that my sister and I were taught to sew at the same time, and shes always been frustrated with it, and her daughter has the sewing bug already at 10.
When my sewing machines are in the shop, I feel as though Im missing an appendage!
