Ive been working in cross-stitch since I was old enough to read a pattern. There is something very meditative about the process. In college I devoured cross-stitch kits and gave the finished products away as gifts. I noticed how much people enjoyed something I truly loved making.
Soon my interest in ready-made patterns waned. I started looking at the photographs I took and thought they would make unique needlework. Every piece I create now has a special meaning. It captures a moment in time, a place I have been. I hope the passion I have comes through in my work.
