Such a shame that McQueen died so young--but he leaves a very rich legacy. I'm sorry I missed the show at the Metropolitan; but I'm glad that next Threads I'll be able to read about it!

I've wanted the DVD archive since it was first offered--and I've used the online index for years--but I'll never get rid of my magazines. I've only been a subscriber since about issue 85, but when my brother lost his wife to cancer in 2001, the only thing of hers I asked for were her Threads. Now I have a nearly complete collection going back to issue 5. And honestly, even if I won the DVD, I'd still always be carrying a few well-thumbed magazines; they go with me everywhere!

Before its demise a year or two ago, I looked forward to my annual pilgrimage to Wright's factory outlet in Sturbridge, MA, where I collected something close to (my substantial) weight in ribbons! I've never minded my absurd stash, but this book looks like a natural way to help me trim it down--so now I'll *keep* a New Year's resolution! ;}
