I always got in trouble in sewing class at school for holding straight pins in my mouth instead of a pin cushion, 40+ years later I still do !! I also have too many projects going on at once, I'll start a new project before finishing the previous one. I don't really have a permanent space for my sewing, so my stuff is scattered here & yon !

I must be color blind too !! It shows up gray on my computer, not a pretty blue !! Still a nice coat though !!

At 7 years of age, I sat down at my Grandmothers old treadle Singer sewing machine....and my love for sewing began. She taught me a lot about sewing, but mainly she let me learn by trial & error. By my teen years, I could sew as well as the teacher in my High School sewing classes. I've sewn everything from jeans to wedding dresses. Now, I'm teaching my Granddaughters to sew!!
