I have been designing and sewing literally since I was 7 years old. I mostly enjoy sewing clothes for our family of grandchildren. I have been designing wedding gowns and formals for over 20 years, and each one is a joy for me, as well.
The neatest thing I ever made for someone was to take their grandmother's wedding gown and make it into a Christening gown complete with jacket, pillow and bonnet. I have also helped three sisters end the fued of who gets their mother's slightly tattered wedding gown, by making it into pillow shams for each of them to cherish.
