Of course. It is a sewing book, so, of course, I'd like to have it.

I'm not certain. I'd love to see the exhibit if I didn't have to wait in line. I almost always get inspiration from these kinds of shows even if I think "punk" is ugly. I went to an exhibit at FIT a couple of years ago that was Gothic. I thought I'd hate everything, but I was delighted with many things, and filled with ideas. I found it mind-expanding. Of course, I'm going to love YSL or Valentino, but maybe there are lessons/inspirations in things outside my comfort zone. So yes, I would go.

Finally, an appropriate time for the word "awesome!" Truly stunning. Saves you a trip to the gym, too.

Yuck, except for the Donna Karan dress, I don't like any of the featured patterns.

Basting saves far more time than it costs. If there is anything tricky about the seam, I baste. So simple. So easy. I baste. And test sew. Even if I'm working on a continued project, I'll sew a quick test seam when I turn the machine on for today.

Embellishments can make the garment! And ribbon can be simple or complex. I'd love to win this book.
