I don't know about incredible, but my favorite bag was a fringed barrel bag from the 70's. It has lots of movement. It was a happy bag.
I'm a skirt girl. They are so easy to redesign. I want to learn to do a jackets.
Claire Shaeffer's Fabric Sewing Guide is my go to book when deciding if a fabric will work in my design.
Make your muslin out of light weight fabric that can be used as the interlining. So easy to go straight to the fashion fabric.

I have many of Claire's books. I have learned so much from her. This book would be a great way to further expand my knowledge.
