I love downloadable patterns, the cost savings are great for me, but I can cheat and have access to a large format plotter :)

I'd love to win a swag bag, I am a newly converted Bernina fan after buying my 1150MDA overlocker, now I am secretly planning my next sewing machine purchase on the Bernina site ;) Shh! Don't tell my hubby, haha!

My sewing hobby was shaped by my mother, who taught me how to use her machine young and encouraged my creativity. It is also her encouragement to develop my creative side that has seen me take up a career in the design industry :)

I noticed his patterns the other day while online, they look youthful and feminine, would love to try one.

I really want to learn more about correctly lining a garment because at the moment my knowledge is limited and I tend to only line something if I have the lining pattern included. I have made a few basic linings but to learn more sophisticated techniques would be great.

I only recently got my dressform so I haven't had much of a chance to try very much draping. I've done a little "playing" with out any instructions and I'd love to learn more since I've seen so many amazing creations online that were "draped" :)

I think the BurdaStyle Sewing Clubs are worth a mention, I co-run the Perth, Western Australia club with Sandra but here is the link to a full list of both US and International clubs: http://www.burdastyle.com/blog/join-a-local-burdastyle-sewing-club :)

Re: Giveaway: Simplicity Bias Tape Maker
Wow! I never would have imagined something like this existing, it makes my little clover bias tape maker seem puny, I'd love to just try this out, but to win one would be awesome! :)
