Re: Enter to Win a One-Year Subscription to Threads!

I love Threads magazine - whenever I get it I read all of it right away! I would love to get a free year of Threads!

Re: Project Runway All Stars Episode 2: "Put On Your Dancing Shoes"

I actually loved Casanova's dress and, having been to Studio 54 myself in the 70's, thought it would be the winner. I could tell the judges were going to pick Uli's dress but I'm not sure what made it "disco" (except as a tribute to Cher's Half Breed days). I agree that Wendy's design wasn't as bad as Andrae's. He should have gone home after being in the bottom twice in a row. Just take the chain off Wendy's look & it was at least wearable. I thought Ivy's design looked cheap and was poorly sewn. I was shocked to see Ivy's dress in the top 3 rather than Emilio's dress - what are these judges thinking?

Re: DVD GIVEAWAY: Industry Insider Techniques with Louise Cutting Volumes 1-4

I would love to be able to take a course from Louise Cutting! I'm something like an advanced beginner I think - I'm always trying to improve my sewing skills. I don't really travel anymore so the DVD set would be the only way for me to learn take a course with Louise Cutting. That would be amazing!

Re: DVD GIVEAWAY: Threads Magazine Archive, 1985-2011

I have almost every single magazine & try searching through them. It is not easy! I end up trying to find the tip online. It would be wonderful to have Threads on searchable cds!

Re: MAGAZINE GIVEAWAY: "Quick Stuff to Sew"

I love making handbags for gifts and I love that hobo bag on the back cover. I also want to make dog coats. It looks like "Quick Stuff to Sew" has some great ideas. I would love to see what's inside!

Re: BOOK GIVEAWAY: "Couture Sewing Techniques" by Claire B. Shaeffer

I would love Claire Schaeffer's new book! I am especially interested in welt pockets and bound buttonholes, but I love learning about all couture techniques. I've been sewing about 15 years now and I am constantly trying to learn and challenge myself. Claire's techniques can certainly be challenging - and they are always worth learning!

Re: Suggest a Designer for the Spotlight

I agree with the person who voted for an in-depth interview with Kenneth King. Christian Siriano is my favorite designer from all the seasons of Project Runway. And I think Connie Crawford is incredible designing for women plus size.

Re: Book Giveaway: Successful Serging

I would love a serger book!
