I feel like I am in a fitting category that is hardly ever addressed. I am a petite person, with a straight shape. Small, high bust, not much of a waist and straight hips, but round bottom. I have tried for many years using commercial and indie patterns to make my own clothes--every once in a blue moon, something fits. I've learned a bit, but my closet is still empty!
I would love to be able to have a set of just basic patterns that would really fit!
Thanks so much for the giveaway--fingers crossed!
I love the idea of making something completely from "scratch." Designing my own fabric would be a huge step in bringing that aesthetic to my sewing. I would love to have this book in my library--thanks for this great giveaway!
Wow--what a generous giveaway! I'm sure these lessons would bring my sewing up a notch or 10! Thanks so much~
I would love to do the Audrey Hepburn dress--what an iconic style! Thanks so much for the wonderful giveaway~~
Wow! So much to love in this issue! I am especially looking forward to reading the article about sergers---I would love to use mine for more than just seam finishing. Also love the idea of three designers putting their own marks on the same pattern. Super stuff! Thanks for the giveaway~
Every review i've read about Colette patterns has been positive, even glowing. I would imagine the book will be just as good---the photos look great and the included patterns sound super cute. Fingers crossed!
I would love to learn more about fitting and shaping. Also love the idea of having a garment as beautiful on the inside as outside with the seam techniques. Thanks so much for a super giveaway!
