I am retired from teaching and spend my time now following my interests in sewing, art and nature. I love to ride and my beloved horse is 26 this year. A perfect day for me would involve spending time with my husband, playing with my jack russell terrier, riding, a little bit of gardening and a whole lot of sewing.

Re: Cheryl Kuczek Pattern Giveaway

Fun! I'd love any one of these patterns.

Re: Enter to Win a One-Year Subscription to Threads!

I would love to win a free year of Threads...a magazine I treasure and read over and over.

Re: BOOK GIVEAWAY: A Field Guide to Fabric Design

I have so many caftan patterns, and would love to have the perfect fabric to use. I am petite, and many bold prints are lovely, but too much for my frame. What fun to start with a fabric perfect for me!

Re: BOOK GIVEAWAY: "The Art of Fashion Draping" by Connie Amaden-Crawford

I'd love to drape a jacket with a waterfall lapel.

Re: DVD GIVEAWAY: Industry Insider Techniques with Louise Cutting Volumes 1-4

What a generous giveaway! I love the idea of being able to learn new techniques, and to review old ones. I live in a rural area and do not have access to quality garment instruction except online. These DVDs would be so welcome in my sewing room.

Re: Enter for Your Chance to Win a SUEDEsays Pattern!

Suede, your designs are fun, current and wearable. That is a great combination. Thanks for the chance to win a freebie.

Re: Yard by Yard

What a beautiful quilt! I love the colors and the design of the schoolhouses.

Re: Giveaway: SewStylish Spring 2012 Fashion Sewing Guide

Lots of great articles but I am most interested in "Make it Your Way". I love to see different interpretations of the same pattern.

Re: Book Giveaway: "Horrockses Fashions: Off-the-Peg Style in the '40s and '50s"

What a wonderful giveaway! I love taking time in the afternoon to sit down with a book such as this, and dream. Keeping my fingers crossed on this:-)
