I enjoy sewing in so many avenues. I mostly don't sew clothes, but just about everything else. I enjoy sewing as an artsy/creative outlet. I sewed in 4-H. As an adult, I purchased a sewing machine that helped me lose confidence in my abilities, but about a decade ago, I replaced it and found that I wasn't the problem. I'm not in empty nest and have taken over my son's room for sewing. It is awesome! :D (Fortunately, he still visits.)

Thank you so much for this article. I have been interested in purchasing a foot for couching, but at 50.00 a foot, I think this is a great alternative for not more than I would be doing it. Thanks!
