Re: Video: Prevent Disappearing Ink From Vanishing Too Soon

What a great and simple idea. I have had these marks disappear more than once. thanks

Re: Pattern Giveaway: Simplicity SewStylish 1542

Love the pattern, the jacket would look great with either jeans or something more dressy. The red jacket is particularly nice with the long lapels. (sz 12 - 20)

Re: Book Giveaway: "Schiaparelli & Prada: Impossible Conversations"

This sounds like a very interesting book, that I would love to read!

Re: "Baby, it's cold outside"

I am almost finished making myself a winter jacket of fake fur. This is the softest fake fur I have ever seen (felt). I am using a pattern from Linda McPhee, from Edmonton, Alberta. It is a simple style that I have modified to give it a placket that covers the zipper, and leather toggle closings. It is lined with Kasha lining and should be perfect for milder days or as a car-coat when going shopping. The fur looks like strips of many different furs sewn together, and the seams seem to dissapear. Tomorrow it should be done.

Re: Gatsby Ribbon Frock

WOW!! Beautifully sewn, a true work of art.

Re: MAGAZINE GIVEAWAY: "Quick Stuff to Sew"

From what I see on the front and back cover, there are plenty of items suitable for the people on my Xmas list. Skirts for my daughter and daughter in-law, a coat for my sisters dog, vests, bags, and many more wonderful things. I feel that a home-made gift is a sign of thought and love for the person receiving it, you have spent your time thinking about that person and what would best suit them. Thanks for all the wonderful ideas, and heres hoping I'm one of the winners.

Re: Choosing Fabric for Plus-Sized Designs

I agree that this article is for every size, not just plus sizes. Not everything could be covered here, as you stated this is just one chapter from a whole book. Enough information to make you want to learn more, so I guess we will have to buy the book. Thanks for the peek inside!

Re: Betsy's Bridesmaids

Beautiful dresses, and beautiful girls.

Re: Needle felted coat

Dewdrops, just love your coat! I have made something similar in style, but hadn't thought to do embelishing on it.
Thanks for the great idea.
