After many years living in Europe and USA, came back to this beautifull country, famous for its nature and rainforest: Costa Rica. Settle here, work as fashion designer specialize in wedding and evening gowns. I love the green of this country, and also love, love my work. Making hand made thread loops

Handmade thread loops can be a very special finishing for closing a garment.

Brds of blue

I design and made this blouson in silk charmeuse and silk organza.  The detail on the  front and cuffs, was inspired by the beautifull flowers that we have in Costa Rica called:  bird...

Golden shades of green......

I use 3 different shades of this lovely silk chiffon to  make this dress.  It has the advantage that  it changes it self, acordingly to your taste, because, from the hand pleated...

A golden wedding dress!!

This dress is made in silk duppioni color soft gold.  It has a ballony skirt divided in 8 petals.  At the center of each petal, I put a big tear that has been machine embroidered and...

Coffe and tea dye for a second chance.....

I designed and made this silk chiffon dress a couple of years ago.  It has been embellish with guipiur lace at the top, and it was all pure white.  Now days, it was going to be used again...

May God bless the hands that made this extraordinary piece!!!!! It may sounds rare....but I love spiders and the lovely tale about Athena and Aragne.....where the roots of my name came from!!!! That is not important, what is important is the wonderfull piece of fabric made with the spider silk, and the magnificent "work of art" that the embroiderers did on seems to me that the piece was embroidered in India??? I would love to know more about this piece. The video was lovely, is a pity that I could not hear it properly, but no complain....I was really speachless looking at the creation of this piece. Thank you so much for sharing with all of us this wonderfull videos!!!

Actually, I design and make only wedding and evening gowns, and that was something I never dream with, but now I love my work!!ERIN: If I had one thousand hats to take off at you....I will take them all!!!!! Actually, I do sewing every day!!! and my fabrics are allways 100% silk. There are many fields if not all that I would love to improve, and I work every day trying to become better. But...there are a couple of things that I would love to improve: to work with stretch materials and to have perfect bies cuts...........there is so litle information about it!!! Thank you very much!!!

Actually, the changes that I have seen during my life time, have been: from bras with no seams cups, and wonder bra..and from bikini underpants, to the thong-string ones. Also there is the new underwear line special for people who do sports that support the bust. I would love to have this book!!!

Hi! it is definitevily a lovely jacket!!! I started to make November last year.....and have not had the time to finished!!!! I am using a beautifull silk tweed, and it works very well.....I only need to finish one sleeve and the pockets!!!

Hi Susan, this jacket is just wonderfull!!! I would like to know how you apply the interlinings.....did you work together the charmeusse with the soft cotton flanel and the muslin like a one single fabric?? or did you work only the charmeuse with the flanel together and then shape the muslin and put it together at the armholes and borders of the jacket, or....they are all worked separetely and then put together on the armholes?? I thank you so much for your kind reply!!!

SUESEWING: Thank you very much for the comment. Actually the embroidery was done on a Janome embroidery machine, and no....this is not my first wedding dress. I am a designer who specialize in designing and making wedding and evening gowns. I have tryed to upload many of my dresses, but unfortunately the pictures have to many pixels.....or something like that, so, I can not upload them. Let me tell you that it makes me very happy that you like my work. Best regards from the beautifull rain forest in Costa Rica!!!
