I learned to sew in the '50's...part of the training for a life that does not exist.

I have a designer's mind, which partly means that I like to do 1, but not a bunch. I am known to think outside the box. I like to use traditional ideas in untraditional ways.

I am currently employed and do little sewing, except to mend. However, I keep in touch with my creative crafting instincts through reading and enjoying what others do. I love Threads. I get inspiration for creation there.

I love to dye/surface design, texture and color, and am working on a small studio to accommodate my hunger to do this. I would love to have a network of women working out of their homes to carry out my designs.
