Born in Memphis, TN. & lived in Germantown and Collierville, Tn. As as a young child, lived in Mobile, Ala. during WWII. Attended college Clinton, Ms.& Memphis. Retired as an employeed of the State of TN and moved to New Orleans, LA in 1985. In Dec., 2004 I moved to The Woodlands, TX. My area of The Woodlands has since been annexed by Conroe, Tx.

While in high school, I took sewing classes. After retiring and moving to New Orleans, I again took sewing classes and made most of my clothes. I am once again interested in sewing. However, I find it difficult to find quality fabric suitable for sewing my clothes. Most fabric stores are now more craft with than fabric.
