Just to stitch something like your creation would be an awesome achievement, but to have actually designed and drafted the garment....well, it's just amazing! If I had another lifetime, I'd do more in textiles.

posted: 10:19 pm on August 2ndAt a fine fabric shop where I worked part-time, we had a bride who wanted such a dress and it too had a 20 foot train. The train was outlined in lace pieces that had been sent out with a sample enclosed to family members to embellish. The dress was beautiful. The bridesmaids were dressed on white English maids dresses with trains that were made from cotton. When the bride came down the long aisle, a little girl behind me said with great wistfulness in her voice......"Oh, it's just like Cindarella." I'm sure that's just how your bride felt.......
