Re: Book Giveaway: Dressmaking: 200 Q&A

Ooh I hope I am lucky enough to win this book! My tip is to write notes as you work on a new pattern. Every time I make an adjustment I write it down so I know what adjustments I made last and so I don't accidentally repeat them. Also, I know what I did last and I can try to reverse it if it did not work.

Re: Book Giveaway: The Vintage Pattern Selector

My favorite time period was the 50's! Love the fashion then!

Re: Re-Create Pleated Edging

Thank you so much! What a great tutorial! Love the step by step pictures and instructions. Usually the tutorials are so hard to follow, but this one is perfect! I'm going to try it, on a smaller scale, on the hem of a dress! It would be gorgeous on the neckline also! Thank you!!

Re: Enter the SewStylish Summer Fashion Challenge 2013

Re: Magazine Giveaway: The Best of Threads Fitting

Biggest problem is the crotch area in pants and also fitting when there is no defined waist line. I would love to learn as much as I can, and this would help! Great giveaway! thank you for the chance to win something so great!

Re: Book and DVD Giveaway: Claire B. Shaeffer's "Couture Sewing: Tailoring Techniques"

Wow! this is a great giveaway! I would love to win this because I am a fashion design student and I believe this will truly help me to learn couture techniques that I can put into the garments I make and future collections. It would also help me to know these before I work for a designer in the future. Thank you for the opportunity! I hope I win!!!!

Re: MAGAZINE GIVEAWAY: The New June/July Issue of Threads (#161)

I can't wait to do the "Summer Sewing Project: Bias Skirt" by Julianne Bramson. Five fabrics come together for a versatile pieced design. Also the article by Kenneth D. King on how to make the most of one's dress form is something I'd love to read about:)
